Content: Alpaca / Wool
Amount: 100 grams
This soft, naturally-grown black top is a blend of two Australian-grown fibres — crossbred Finnsheep/Bond Corriedale wool and Alpaca. Both these fibres come from one farm, Fairfield Finns, and the fibres are processed locally.
Fairfield Finns is an ethically-run family farm at Bullengarook in Victoria’s beautiful Macedon Ranges. They breed their Finn sheep for their exquisite, soft wool, their calm temperament and their clean breech and short tails. Their sheep are never mulesed and tail docking is unnecessary.
Read more about the Fairfield Finns' story on our blog post.
The Finn wool is unique in its very low prickle factor – you can wear it against your skin. In Finland it is worn as underwear throughout the winter.
Fairfield Finns yarns and fibres are 100% Australian grown and processed locally.
