Soysilk Fiber Natural 50g

I am enjoying spinning this fiber and love the soft colour. At first I found that I had to hold the spun section so tightly to stop the twist going into the draft section that it made my poor arthritic fingers hurt. However, I have found it much easier to spin using the "off the fold" method after reading an article on spinning silk that I found in an old issue of Spin Off Magazine Summer 2001. Basically you pull off a 6 inch length of fiber & fold it over your index finger and spin from the centre of the fold.
